Missed a Wegovy dose?
Enter your last dose and see exactly what the Wegovy label says to do now, with your own dates.
Working it out…
This repeats the FDA label and works in your browser; nothing you enter is sent anywhere. It isn't medical advice. If your prescriber told you something different, follow them, and ask your pharmacist if you're unsure. Sthira works this out for you automatically from your dose log.
What the Wegovy label says
- Missed a dose
- Take it as soon as you can, unless your next dose is less than 2 days away; then skip it. After 2 or more missed in a row, the prescriber restarts at a lower dose.
- Moving your dose day
- Fine, as long as there are at least 2 days between the two doses.
- Out of the fridge
- A single-dose pen can be kept at 46–86°F for up to 28 days before the cap comes off. A FlexTouch pen lasts 56 days after first use, at 59–86°F or in the fridge.
- Insulin or diabetes pills
- Also taking insulin or a sulfonylurea (like glipizide or glimepiride)? The label warns that low blood sugar is more likely, and your prescriber may lower those doses. Know the signs: shakiness, sweating, a fast heartbeat or confusion.
