What the Wegovy pill label says
- Taking it
- First thing in the morning on an empty stomach, with up to 4 oz of plain water. Swallow it whole. Wait at least 30 minutes before eating, drinking anything else or taking other pills.
- Missed a dose
- Skip it and take the next one the following day.
- Out of the fridge
- Store at room temperature, 68–77°F, in the original bottle.
- Insulin or diabetes pills
- Also taking insulin or a sulfonylurea (like glipizide or glimepiride)? The label warns that low blood sugar is more likely, and your prescriber may lower those doses. Know the signs: shakiness, sweating, a fast heartbeat or confusion.
