Headache on a GLP-1. What helps.

  • Drink water and eat small, regular meals; skipped meals and low fluids are common triggers.

Call your doctor if: A headache is sudden and severe, or comes with vision changes.

Don't change or skip a dose on your own. If side effects are hard to live with, ask your prescriber; they can adjust your plan.

Get urgent care for severe stomach pain that won't go away (it may spread to your back), vomiting so you can't keep fluids down, fainting, signs of an allergic reaction, or a lump or swelling in your neck.

General self-care, based on the 2025 GLP-1 nutrition advisory and the medicines' patient information. Not medical advice.
