- Eat smaller meals and finish eating 2 to 3 hours before bed.
- Limit spicy, fatty and acidic foods, alcohol and caffeine.
- Raise the head of your bed a few inches.
Call your doctor if: It happens most days, or swallowing is hard or painful.
Don't change or skip a dose on your own. If side effects are hard to live with, ask your prescriber; they can adjust your plan.
Get urgent care for severe stomach pain that won't go away (it may spread to your back), vomiting so you can't keep fluids down, fainting, signs of an allergic reaction, or a lump or swelling in your neck.
General self-care, based on the 2025 GLP-1 nutrition advisory and the medicines' patient information. Not medical advice.
